Baby Alpacas

Have you ever seen a baby alpaca? Now's your chance!

The Oak Tree Alpaca girls usually give birth in July and August and have already started!

Baby alpacas spend at least eleven months in the womb and arrive all legs and ears. A baby alpaca is known as a cria and is able to stand a short while after birth.

Alpacas are fairly independent and it is usually best to leave them to it, unless there are clearly problems.

Alpaca names are inspired by the farm garden so we have Nero on the left (from Cavolo) and Cicely (from Sweet) so far!

THIS IS A GREAT PLACE FOR YOUR TAGLINE.
